Here is the second thread for new races that may be incorparated into the game!
I think our next race should be giants! They could be called just that or something else. They shouldn't be giant, just very tall (even short ones would be taller than most humans) and well built. They would have good strength, but not much intelligence, so the goblins sometimes capture them for slave labour. They maybe evil, or may not.
What do you think so far, we can build from this!

Ah yes. How very predictable yet interesting As a side note I'd like to say that it would be logical if the dragon beasts (we must find an apt name) become playable too. Don't think that has to happen right away, though. I shall ponder on the subject of giant folk.

yes yes i think the dragon beasts should be playable, as for giants.... i like the idea but i'm not sure..... lets think it over. As for the dragon beasts, we really don't know anything about them, where they are from or why they are fighing alongside the orcs, who their leader is or anything of that sort.... i think that would be the logical step we could take...
Of course, not to demean the giant idea. Perhaps there could be some sort of orc / troll crossbreed or something that we may want to make a playable race.... an Oroll, hehehehehehe....
Just one thing i would want to point out, every culture, and thus, every race has a system of rulership, beliefs and customs. adding these things to a proposal may take your idea further.

werewolves have possibilities... not really so much as shape shifters, but some monsterous crossbreed of humans and wolves... the "werewolf form" as is usually used when referring the half human/ half wolf form of the shape shifters.

They're supposed to be wolf-ish in behaviour and looks, but they don't necessarily have the urge to kill and feed, Makazo That's what I make of it. Still like the Giant idea better, but it needs more idea's. Vampires and werewolves... Kira, Quell, Pale Horseman. I'm gonna have nightmares of this place.

Firlbolgs!!!!!!
A race of bear people of the high mountains. Have 2 forms that can change at will, Bear and human obviously. An outwardly freindly but highly territorial race. Very strong and tough, like a bear.

Furbolgs, from the Warcraft universe God I luv Warcraft. Save for world of warcraft, hate the people on it. Compete compete compete! Anyway. We might think about shapeshifters, though it'd be a really popular race, far out!; But right now, SHADOW, I'd like to think about these giants. We need more input on them. hehe

giants. hmmmm how about Granegs, tall folk from the mountains. Think kind of like Frost Giants, about 18' tall, extremely beautiful in appearance, with white hair and pale blue skin, but evil and manipulative.

You mean to make them strong? Hmmm, wasn't there already mention of dull mindless shells? I mean, dumb creatures yet strong with perhaps a strange sence of loyalty, so they might be good or evil, and perhaps they ought to have a neutral settlement where neither the people of ALdorn nor the bastards from Kirakesh can get without getting mashed like bloody taties! Sorry, I got carried away. The looks, you know, beautiful yet dangerous, now that I like! Shadow, what've you got to say on this?

I like this stuff about giants, but I especially like the idea fo a winged race. My mind is awash with possibilities! White wings for the good trine, black wings for the dark tribes! sort of like an war of the gods raging on in a cloud city or something...Perhaps I could get The Overseer to grant them some sort of powers, like they were sort of gods or something...say administrators over the worlds...Chaos reigns in the city in the skies! An ancient fued between two tribes, over a lost atrefact/a stolen love/the insult of a nobleman/the power hungry invasion of sacred ground.
It could be like a whole other sub world....The City in the Clouds could have it's own forum set, with differnt districts, temples, the holy grounds, the thrones, the palaces....Perhaps even the Overseer could live up there. A few different kinds of winged beings could exost too, like the more powerful elder tribes, and the trainees and acadmey of some sort maybe...I'm just throwing stuff out here...It would be like a whole other mini-RPG forum within this one that could eventually become integrated in some way...What do you all think?

I just noticed this.
What if the birdfolk are guardians? For every man or woman down here in Elendhel, there's a guardian up there, but they're distracted by quarrels of their own.
Lovely idea, if it's doable.

I definitely like a winged race, though I'm not too too thrilled with them being close to gods or angels. But a bird-human messenger society or something would be cool. Not that I'd be them

yeah the bird people idea is good... (has anyone read the axis trilogy by Sara Douglas... she makes use of them in her story.. they're called the Icarii...or somthing like that...at first they were thought to be evil creatures/monsters... but as the story evolved it ends up that they are really good... Banished thousands of years ago by humans... They were mainly good... most of which were enchanters... the used songs to make there enchantments.. a really beutiful race))
