I'd like to get something down so people can start up new characters.
So lets get you lot decided on a new name for our fledgling folk and some traits for them.
Now I'd like if the majority of you agreed, I run a democracy, not a dictatorship. But if you can't, I'll take the most popular ideas.
So post up all the ideas in this thread that you liked and lets see what we get.

Perhaps it is too early to synthesise, seen the fact that the Shadow (my most thrusted companion in this matter) has not yet come back from where-ever he has been lately. Still, I feel great joy when thinking about these Greamers as I would call them. Consider it a tribute to DwynWyn who has seemed to magically (no such thing as magic, apologies) disappeared. Greamers: These small creatures are typically (even genetically) curious beings. Not a single greamer has ever been known not to have shown fanatic interest in something she wasn't familiar with, or something she wàs familiar with but which fascinated her nonetheless. Their race has been scattered all over the land, because greamers take interest in different things which may vary from a specifically multi-coloured bird to a "V"-shaped crack in the wheel of an overrun carriage. Greamers are passionate, flexible (even more so) and above all impulsive creatures. Their attention constantly switching from one thing to another may unnerve people who find themselves spending time with the greamer in question. In appearance, greamers are much alike elves, only much smaller and a little more broad-shouldered. But in fact they are absolutely the opposite, impatient and far from calm at most times. A greamer's instinct differs greatly from those of the elven kin. Greamers often chose the profession of inventor or mechanic, relying not on nature in its purest form like the woodelves, but more on blueprints, steel and wood and fire. Spiritual greamers are extremely rare, though not non-existent. They explain their curiosities with a deeper meaning. Where a tinkerer (mechanic/inventor) might say "it's over our heads", a more spiritually advanced greamer would take great interest in what exactly it is that's over our heads and why it is in the first place. There is a sad note in the song of the greamers, however. With a short lifespan, they are doomed. Perhaps it is her agitated life or it may be simply because of her race, but the greamer will not age over forty years. If a greamer reaches her mid-thirties, she isn't old, there are no white hairs, no trouble breathing, she will just die of oldage. Thirty years old is the average age of the greamer. Cut the things you don't like, rewrite sentences, leave out the comic undertone at certain points, do whatever you will. Most of all, more idea's are needed, and Arin, input of your own is not forbidden

Yes, I htink this will be accepted.
For our next race (if we make a new one) I would like to make a race that is very profficient in fighting but slow and stupid. A bit like an Orc but not as evil (unless it chooses to be evil) Maybe giants? That would be quite cool but they wouldn't be like 50m high, just about 3 or 4m.

The Overseer has noted this thread, and will leave it open to suggestion for one further week, after which time, the ideas agreed upon for the race of smallfolk will be incorporated into the game.
The Overseer thanks you for your interest and input in improving the game.

i like it... however there is one thing i might want to add, if it suits the council.
SmallFolk- tiny, curious creatures with short life spans who like to tinker with mechanical objects.
Greamers - Evil smallfolk who have turned from their curious nature to explore dark magics...
This way it kind of divides the race into two separate factions.

First off, on the topic of all orcs being evil, I can't imagine an entire race made up off just evil people. Maybe most off the race, but not all of it.
Anyway, I also have a new race idea.
Nephilim: The acursed offspring of a demon and a mortal. While there is good and evil among the Nephilim, every one of them, without exception, has an inner evil that is the product of being of demon blood.
Just an idea.

Smallfolk/Greamers have great curiosity. Orcs have great evil. In Elendhel, that's the way it is (or in case of the Greamers/Smallfolk, will be)

Sad history, that of the goblins and the orcs alike.

Wouldn't these Greamers need a sub-board that they could use for a home?

Perhaps... What would be cool is that the Greamers have started work on a city. Rumors. Smallfolk however, they just live in Aldorn, I guess. Or somewhere on the edge of town.
Good thinking, man.
