I went to the bookstore today, craving new books, for I have almost read everything in my house. (I'm just finishing the first of the Wheel of Time) and in fact, I decided to look for R.A. Salvatore's Legend of Drizzt, or Dark elf trilogy.
Guess what happened. they had *every* book by R.A. Salvatore, EXCEPT the first book n the Legend of Drizzt. I was incredibly mad. I even had a guy come help me look for it. We searched the entire (and considerably impressive) fantasy section, with no prevail. We just found 2-the end of Drizzt. He offered to order it for me, but alas, I am thirteen, and cannot pay with credit cards.
Instead I bought the second wheel of time and George R.R. Martin's A Game of Thrones, which will hopefully prove to be awesome. I got a kick-ass deal on it too, only four bucks. Not bad, considering it's a bestseller, and about 800 pages of pure joy.
